Privacy Policy
How XAMVEN handles the information you provide through this site, and what we do not ask you for.
This Privacy Policy describes how XAMVEN ("XAMVEN," "we," "us") handles information collected through xamven.com (the "Site"). XAMVEN publishes payment-control systems for U.S. businesses; this Site is our public-facing storefront and resource library. Questions about this Policy, or about information you have given us, can be sent to hello@xamven.com, which is monitored by the XAMVEN team.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as through the contact form or the Payment Control Readiness Check, including name, work email, company, role, industry, and any message you submit. We do not ask for, and you should never submit, bank account numbers, passwords, payment credentials, credit-card details, or other sensitive financial or customer information through this Site.
We may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as pages visited and general device/browser information, for the purpose of operating and improving the Site.
How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form.
- To provide the results of the Payment Control Readiness Check.
- To communicate with you about XAMVEN products, where you have provided consent to do so.
- To maintain and improve the Site.
The Payment Control Readiness Check
You can see your result without giving us anything: your answers are scored in your own browser. If you choose to email yourself your result, we receive and store your first name, work email, company, industry, optional role and company size, and the answers behind your score, together with your score, readiness band and the control areas it highlighted. If you take the Check again, we keep each attempt as a separate record and update your contact record with your latest result.
With that submission we also record how you reached the Check so we can understand which channels are useful: any campaign (UTM) parameters on the link you used, the hostname of the website that referred you (not the full address), and the first XAMVEN page you visited. This is held in your browser tab's session storage and is sent to us only if you email yourself your result. We use your IP address momentarily to limit abuse of the form and do not store it with your assessment. We do not ask for, and you should not enter, bank details, passwords, or payment information.
We use Brevo to store your contact record and to send your results email, and Supabase to keep our record of each assessment you submit. Your results email is sent because you asked for it. You are added to our marketing audiences only if you tick the separate, unticked-by-default consent box. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send, or by writing to hello@xamven.com.
Email Communications
If you provide your email address, we will only use it consistent with the purpose for which you provided it and any consent given at that time. You can ask to be removed from any mailing list at any time by contacting hello@xamven.com.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Site (for example, form-handling or hosting infrastructure), under obligations consistent with this Policy, or where required by law.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Your Choices
You may contact us at hello@xamven.com to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you have submitted to us, subject to applicable law.
Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
Governing Law
If any provision of this Policy is found unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
